James Hornett is an experience building science technologist and energy advisor. He got his start working on construction sites and going on to study building science and working for engineering firms in Alberta and British Columbia. He has worked with builders and designers to develop energy efficient, durable and comfortable buildings.

In 2021 he opened Western Energy Advisors to focused on energy advisor services.
